[Develop] Merged by branch in

Hey folks, I just merged my branch into trunk.  The main change is that I
moved almost all the startup code out of app.py and into two modules.
Backend startup code is in tv/portable/startup.py, platform startup code is in
tv/portable/frontends/html/main.py.

Just wanted to give folks a heads up about the changes.  Next I'm going to
work on refactoring app.py like we discussed on the call.
