Hi , this a common request for people I try to get to use Miro ( instead of
Joost ) :
When a channel contains URL for http streams ( FLV , Ogg etc..) instead of
torrent files, Miro will try to download them .
Which is a good thing if the Bitrate is > to the inet download rate.
But if inet dl rate > vidéo Bitrate , the viewer wants to have the option to
watch it directly .
I just wanted to know if it's a feature people are working on already or if
it's something that has to be specified ( UI issues )
moreover : I guess this could applied to bittorrent as well if the "download
parts in a row" options is available from the tracker ? ( I mean retrieve
the file so it could be played instantly )
Thanks again for Miro , I've been following it for few months and it's
really becoming the Firefox of video podcast !
