[Develop] new year and development reminders!

Happy new year everyone!  I wanted to put together a short email of 
development reminders:

1. We're currently doing future development in the trunk and Miro 1.1 
development in the Democracy-Player-1.0 branch.  Once Miro 1.1 is 
released, we'll continue to use the trunk for future stuff and the 
Democracy-Player-1.0 branch for 1.2 stuff (unless I'm mistaken).

2. We're using svnmerge to keep the trunk and the Democracy-Player-1.0 
branch synced.  So it's easier to do development work in the trunk and 
then svnmerge the revisions into the Democracy-Player-1.0 branch. 
Merges go from trunk -> branch and not the other way around.

3. We're in 2008 now.  Update the copyright date in the header of any 
files you touch when you check them in.  For the most part, this is an 
easy change of 2007 -> 2008.

4. I'm tagging Miro 1.1 release with tags that look like "Miro-1.1". 
We'll use that naming scheme for tags and branches going forward.


I can't think of anything else.  If there are other things I missed, 
please reply to this email and tack them on.
